Dr. Pfund is a Clinical Psychologist HSP and Research Assistant Professor of Psychology at The University of Memphis. He interned at the University of Mississippi Medical School and completed a fellowship at the Center on Alcohol, Substance use, and Addictions. Dr. Pfund serves as the Director of The Gambling Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Pfund received his PhD in clinical psychology from The University of Memphis in 2020, and he has published over 40 peer reviewed articles. His research has focused primarily on evaluating how well psychological treatments reduce gambling problems and promote psychological functioning. Dr. Pfund’s research has been funded by the International Center of Responsible Gambling and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.
